Animals and other features of nature

Are there many actually suggesting that other animals are morally superior to humans? What you say is quite true; animals don't actually have the capacity for such types of thought though, so they can't really be blamed. Humans, by contrast, do have that capacity and we have still just barely pulled ourselves out of some of our nastier natural instincts.
