sometimes when you go hiking, if youre real quiet, you see animals who belong there, and dont notice your presence. over the years, I've seen plenty of really cool wild animals:

black jaguar
shark
whales
black bear
bobcat
vultures

what are the coolest wild animals youve ever seen, in their natural habitats, that is...

I saw a fox walking down the road when I was walking to college not too long ago. I didn't know we even got them where I live as it's quite urban, was beautiful. It stared at me for a few seconds before bounding away.

I have also seen a wild pig in the local woods which was pretty cool. You don't want to get too close to them though

The Corn Crake (Crex crex), or landrail is a small bird in the family Rallidae.

thanks.

I am glad to hear there are still a few Lynx in Sweden. I hope they stay happy and healthy for a long long time to come.

cheers to all who dig watching wild animals.

wee birds that live here. people come from miles to see them and dont as they are quite rare to see now. but we've had three or four just walk through our garden. they are a protected species or something like that.

you know, even when I lived in Radnor, Pa, I used to have a red fox prowling around in my backyard. he was the prettiest fox I've seen, bright orange and white. gorgeous. you KNOW I fed him!

We have deer and foxes all the time. I didn't even think about them. We have a chipmunk who comes to her name, Simone. She used to be Simon but she had babies.

Deer, Foxes, an owl all in our back yard. Of course the usual squirrels and chickmunks.

We have a wildlife preserve near us, the deer run free in the area its huge. They can leave or any can come in. One day while we was there someone that works there came out of the wooded are we being nosy said what is going on? He told us a deer was about to give birth. He pointed and we could see her. We watched her give birth was awesome
