My (former) boss is a rage-aholic. He rants and raves about everything. This morning I was under the impression that we were going to expose another silk screen in order to get a good stencil to print some hat transfers. The first one had a bad washout and only one of the transfer stencils was good enough to print. He asked me if it world be cost effective to just print one transfer at a time or burn another screen so I could gang print them. I told him I don't really know the cost of emulsion. The he asked about the time it would take to expose another screen. I said just about as much time as it would take to clean the first one (bad stencil) and get it ready to print. He blew up at me and told me to leave and never come back. I actually felt a calming effect knowing that this bad tempered man had no control over me anymore.

Now to tell my wife when she gets home.

Working for a living and contributing to society wouldn't be so bad if those that had to work for a living weren't always placed under duress and treated like slave robots.

I get this too, alot.

Sorry to hear it but if your boss doesn't appreciate your efforts you shouldn't worry about contributing your better efforts.

I always say that becoming a millionaire and never having to work is a get out of life free card.

Must be something about printing bosses....

I had a similar experience a few years ago. Maybe they're just d***s because they couldn't get into art school, and this is the next best thing.

Thanks to you all. Actually my Wife was very easy going about it. I guess she has the faith I have that all will be OK for us.

Warmly,

What a weird boss you had. His life must be terrible. I think of it this way: I may have to deal with these kinds of people some of the time, but they have to live with themselves 24/7.

How horrible.

What about contacting the workers board? You just can't get fired when your boss is in a bad mood. Depending on how long you have worked there, you can sue. People just can't go firing their workers all willy nilly.
