Damn electric!

Blackouts and what not are COOL MAAAAN!! People don't like 'em only because they just don't know how to have fun with them. Man, if the lights go out, I'm ready to play some blackout games, do black out parties, and everything. Plus, when the lights go out, it creates closeness among the hosehold because you all stick together and there is no tv or internet to distract your attention from each other. Not to mention, the romance in the candle light and the sense of adventure.

last summer our power was out from 9pm until morning!

I ran outside and brought in my 8 solar lights, they lite up the entire house it was sooooooooo cool!

who needs candles?

besides, we don't use candles..............4 cats here!

Last time I had a leccy bill it was ?60 for a quarter. But I am very careful with what I use and didn't have a fridge at the time which would have saved cash.

I am not looking forward to living in a property where I have to pay again now

i was told that the governmaent took the "cap" off the electric and can charge you as much as they want per kilowatt! has anyone else heard this?

Hmm I not sure if that's true or not cause if it ever happens, alot of people be really upset by that and would want to write to their congressmen about it

we have several distributor of gas here and electric companies.......all are fixed rates in Canada.
