I am christian and my church do not hate gays and no they do not teach you to hate them...
In my church and any other church its ok to be gay as long as you arnt in 'practise' which is sexual intercourse with another man.

I've just been thinking if God does exist then you would go to heaven if you follow his commands and that would be a life that went on for ever.

So basically your church say that if you happen to be gay then you must live a life of celibacy?

In theory it should be irrelevant what the people in your church think of you. The bible teaches two things relevant in this scenario -

1. Hate the sin, not the sinner
2. Only god has the right to judge you

So they should hold their tongues, allow you to worship how you please, and let the big man upstairs (should he turn out to exist) pass judgment on you.

I am with Treebs and the rest, "Whoisme" - Do what feels right for you. At the end of the day if there is a God and a heaven, I am sure it says somewhere God is all forgiving. Hell if a Catholic priest feels he can be forgiven for abusing small boys I am sure it wont be held against you for being bisexual.

yeah, what if the bible was severely mis-interpreted and love your fellow man meant love whoever you want, and dont lay with another man meant dont lay down with them unless you are married? What if gay people are supposed to be married before god and you all got it wrong?

Let me ask you some questions:

God is all powerful, right?

God created everything, right?

If God is all-powerful, and created everything, then there is nothing in the world that isn't exactly as God intended it to be, right?

If the preceding suppositions are true, then that means you are exactly as God intended you to be - bisexuality and all.

The Bible has been translated back and forth between so many languages that little of its original content still remains in tact. What does remain is largely open to interpretation.

God's word isn't written in books. It's inside you.

You may be accepted by some of the members of the church, but the church will never accept you, im catholic and they barely accept me.
