Stokes is having quite the summer.

Warner is shockingly out of form. Absolutely no footwork. Playing the ball well away from his body, head not over the ball, no balance. Would have to seriously consider dropping him for the third test.

Archer has really announced himself...

England in a good position. Australia no realistic chance of challenging so the poms can afford to be very attacking.

Have to question the ECB's changes to their qualification rules which mean foreign players are now eligible to play for England after three years of residency - rather than the previous seven.

50 for Labuschagne. A really good knock up to this point. Copped a nasty one from Archer very early but has generally looked good. Need to find a place for him in the third test you reckon.

A lot of drama on the last day. The test has ended as a draw but England were the better team. An impressive debut by Archer. Stokes' dream summer continues whilst Smith's gutsy innings helped save Australia. Credit also to Labuschagne.

Stokes and Archer were very good with the latter getting his first 5 for.

After bowling Australia out for just 179 England are currently 6/54 (were 6/45). All of the Aussie bowlers have been excellent.
