Premium Bonds. A good way to give up gambling?

I have had quite a habit for gambling. When I was in college, I played £5 a week on The National Lottery. To this day, I still play the penny pushers in the arcades as well. Although I have never been into a bookie, bet on horses, or gone into a casino, I still wonder if buying premium bonds is a good way to give up the gambling habits?
