Who Will Win?

Right, first round has finished and we have started the second round of fixtures.

Simply post who you thought was going to win at the start, and post who you think will win now the first set have gone.

I picked Germany at the start and still think they will win, slightly worried they peaked too early but I have a good feeling about them and think it will be either Germany or Spain at this moment.

I know who I want to win, but I don't think that will happen. Right now, I have a strong feeling it will be Germany, but for the most part I can't tell. I need to watch a few more matches.

It seems I'm really impartial to who wins, until the matches start.

Germany have shot up from 14-1 in the odds when I put them on to 7-1. England changed from 5-1 to 8-1 and Spain's odds are slightly taller but they are still favourites.

New Zealand,jokes, i reckon Germany have a good chance if they keep playing like they did against Australia

or rest of team.

Germany were the only big team that impressed me in the first round.

I worry that they peaked too early. Got a fiver on them at 14-1, stand to win ?70 if they keep it up.

That is a concern but its better than them going down 1:0 to Switzerland

I said England and I still say England. We've got our big cock-up out of the way now. Germany were the only one of the "big" teams that performed anywhere near their potential, but they could burn out from playing too well in the group stage as the other teams improve.

I'll be shocked if England make it past the Quarter finals. I think they'll go out to Germany in the last 16 tbh.

Germany, it just seems to be a good year for them.

I've been very unimpressed with England's performance so far', i'm optimistic that they will improve by next match though
