A woman's place (mostly) is in the home doing what she can do best.

I don't know if I'd state it quite that way...

I'll admit, many women are better at the "emotional stuff", but that's not to say they cannot do what men do.

But I have certainly met women that I would NOT want to raise my kids.

The state can't keep its promises.

Ignorance, want, and fear are forever threats.

Sorry not sorry.

That is chauvinistic crap that is even more offensive in the women’s talk forum.

We agree. Though I’d include the bi-women in there too.
That’s a whole other set of sexual assumption baggage to consider.

I'm glad I've given you something to think about.

Feel free to expand on that "sexual assumption baggage" comment. It isn't quite clear what you mean by that. I could easily sense contempt and scorn in there but wouldn't like to attribute it without clarification.

Assumption...? Are you suggesting that I only assume that feminists and lesbians are despised by sections of society and given negative labels due to sexist attitudes and homophobia..? Are you suggesting that sexism and homophobia don't really exist and it's all a figment of our tortured imaginations..? Please clarify.

Baggage...? Are you suggesting that by daring to acknowledge societies negative attitudes and argue against them that we are getting above our station..? That we should accept the burden of male and / or straight oppression as our lot in life..?

And you had nothing to say about the sex.... which, after all, is the whole point of the thread. While I don't want to actually read any squelchy-welchy details, perhaps you'd like to put the hetero female point of view.

Feminists and lesbians (OK, and Bi's too) argue for sex as consensual, shame-free and educated. We argue for freedom of choice and the right to say "NO".

What's the hetero female view on those things...? Anything "assumed in the left luggage" to say about that..?

Over to you.

I deleted the image. Not because it isn't a nice image.... there is nothing more endearing than a mother tucking her children safely into bed at night. It's quite a sweet image.

It's the third line of your comment that's crap.

I have no idea what the hetero female view is.

I meant the B in the LGBTQ community gets left out a lot. It also gets left out of the hetero community.
There is a lot of baggage why everyone craps on the bi-folk.

The bi group likes sex too, that doesn’t meant they are slutty sluts that can’t pick a f***ing side.

A 42 year old married female has no idea what the hetero female view is..???

As you declined to clarify on any of the points raised regarding your previous message, except to re-iterate that you consider bi's to be getting a bad deal I'll have to make my own judgement on what I think you meant. I'll keep that on the back burner for now though.

Yeah, bi's do tend to get overlooked a tad but then again, In my experience I've found that they tend not to push themselves to the front of the debate.

From Monday to Friday, bi's can play at the dutiful housewife with hubby at home and 2.4 children to tuck safely into bed at night and then play the swinger at weekends, hitting the scene and finding a playmate to satisfy their "other" desires. But hey.... that's cool. It falls into the consensual... non-shaming.... etc, etc, etc.

If lesbians tend to look down on them it's mostly because they're the ones most likely to have the truly promiscuous behaviour patterns that then get attached to us all. Husband for security, children and respectability. A casual weekend pickup or swinger lifestyle for no-strings fun. And it's the lesbians who get the label stuck on them. Not fair.

It's true that a lot of lesbians see them as "not being the real deal".... treating other women as playthings to be picked up and put down according to their whim and fancy then going home to hubby when they've had their fun.

Now of course, that too is stereotyping and while it may have a certain general credibility, it isn't absolutely true. That is a given and I've argued that point in LGBT forums.... and taken some hits for daring to say so, I can tell you..!!

Bi's tend to keep away from the political struggles too. They leave the getting down and fighting for our rights to the lesbians.... the ones who take the hits on the front line while the Bi's sit back and put on their happily married wife and mum face and avoid the flak.

Me...? I urge everybody with an interest in LGBT matters to get involved.

I know this all comes over as being an "Us and Them" situation, but I'm afraid that for all the advances we have made, there is still a lot of that about. I wish it were not so, but it is and it has to be challenged wherever it is seen or even perceived.

So. To get back to the topic once more..... I'll ask you again, but perhaps a little more specifically. What is the sexual attitude of the average 42 year old hetero married female...?

Specific enough..?

I am married. I’m not hetero.
I’m not sure why you seem to all questioning my posts. I was agreeing with you.
Just adding in the bi women (myself) with the hetero women and the lesbians.

But thanks for insulting me. It’s eactly why I usually don’t talk specifics about sex first.
