If I understand correctly this is a no brainer

As I said not funny!!! I no longer wish to go on!!! life has sucked for many years I do not have anything to go on for so quite frankly "the wrath of chaski" means nothing!!

Honestly...

A. It was a joke.

B. We're really not "friends"... we don't even know each other.

C. Why would you give a s*** about what I think?

D. Why would you pay any attention to someone, anyone, who is telling you not to see someone that you want to be in a relationship with?

E. Relax... try to let go of the angst. The world is full of wonders, including... music, art, nature, etc... sure, humans blow, but everything else is pretty amazing.

Actually I was hoping to say something like "...you aren't my friend...", to which I would have replied:

Exactly. That is my point.

Isn't both conversations a joke?

to be fair though I feel in many ways even though we don't know each other we do share a "friendship" of sorts. A mutual respect, which is what friendships should be built upon. We offer each other advice on various things, share things that we might not normally share with the people in our actual lives because we don't expect to be judged on this like we might in rl

A "friendship" of sorts... "friendly"... at least mostly... AND some of the advise can actually be quite good.

BUT.... would "you" seriously choose one of "us" (on TFS) over a person "you" wanted to have a relationship with in the real world?

No, no erm no.

I might seek counsel, as i have done, when s*** hits fan, and i will of course ignore most of the advice and plow ahead regardless and then when it all goes tits up i know i can come back here and get new advice in a non judgmental way :D

About your bubbly personality?

I know he was making a joke but in my situation its not funny!!! I am very serious about what I said & to make a joke about it I find belilittling to my situation & mindset. For the most part (I assume) many on here do not actually know each other nor do we know what is largely going on in each others lives (& I fully understand this) BUT when someone is about as low as they can go its real risky to make smug/clever remarks about what someone seriously wants to do. I for one would not want to say something that would have serious ramifications on someones life!! To make smartarse remarks only makes me feel even worse!!

i'm guilty of this, and i do apologize, i find humor in everything and make light of a lot of situations to defuse tension and because i find humor in lots. Hey dude i know life isn't easy. i just lost my partner of 18 years 3 months back and by f*** it hurts but life goes on, regardless of how i feel. I could write posts upon posts about life and how s*** it can be but i'm not going to be dragged down and beaten.

If anyone needs to chat about stuff then my PM is always open and i'm always happy to help, offer advice and generally listen so it's mental health week don't do s*** on your own, share it and in some ways feel a bit better

If YOU have a "friend" who is trying to manipulate you, that person is NOT your friend. You may want them to be, but that is you being naive.

If YOU are willing to let a "friend" manipulate you, you need to wake up and take responsibility for your own life.

The friends I have on TFS know me better than anyone in RL.

I consider TFS group therapy, and it actually helps. .

I see nothing wrong with suicide. It is final though. You can’t change your mind later.

It might be of some advantage to see a doctor about your thoughts.
