wow. I can't believe how ungrateful that daughter of his is..Crazy, the only thing I didn't like was the fact that he didn't tell her everything he should have, imo. He should've elaborated more into what he thought!!! how frustrating to have a child with no respect and compassion for their parent/s. Imagine how hurtful it is to hear that your kid won't be there to aid you in your old age. That is something I could/would never have said to my mom, she was a sole-provider and not being able to show her how much that meant to me would kill me.

At 15 i think she jumped the gun and set everything in stone. She'll regret that when she realizes how good she had it.

Yeah other parents will copy for a while but nothing will actually change.

the father is absolutely right, except how he punished her. i am not sure shoot her computer was good idea, he could ran over the computer withe car or tractor, or let a pig sit on it. i can image any person's childhood didn't have chords in he or her life. the father like any parent would give the most simplest chores in the world, i had to do them in my house, most of the tfs members did when they were younger. i even feed the chicken, give hay and clean out the horse's stalls, and plow the fields, before i went to school. i got up every morning at 2 am, because my parents had to take me a farmer's house, we live in the city, it took my parents an hour to get me to the farmer. around 4 am, i started my chords and i had to 8 am to finished them, and i went to school and the school's bus picked up at the farmer's house. also i had a crushed the farmer's daughter, his daughter's name was dorothy, get it? seriously, the reason why, a child has chords is teach the child: responsibility. without responsibility in a person's life, the person have no direction into adulthood, the person will never grown up to able function in the real world. right on, daddy-o!
