Well for those who know the story, here's an update. Donald went to work this morning as usual and came home unusually early. Later on he came over to the house and I asked why he didn't stay at work. He told me he got sick. I asked what kind of sick, he said the heat just got to him so the manager sent him home. Horrible isn't it? That a grown man can't stand to work in the kitchen because of his weight. It bothers me to tears.
I kind of got rude with him today though. I mean someone has to put it bluntly to him. His doctors obviously aren't. I told him that it wasn't the heat that was getting to him, it was the fact that he was dehydrated. His skin a flush red color. I told him he simply needed to drink some water. He just shook his head at me and said "No, my mom says it's the heat my medicine causes the heat to get to me and it wears me out" Come on now really? His mom is so full of s***! I'm not saying it's not true about his medicine and everything I don't know what all he's taking. But if that was the case wouldn't his doctors advise him not to work at all? He needs WATER. You can't live without it and you can't just rely on other foods to give you water. Sometimes, you just need to drink a glass!
This poor poor boy. His mom has him so trained to believe everything she says, he'll never get out from under her wing.
