Why is everyone in C&W songs nearly always blue and lonesome?
No-one seems to be happily in love. "You broke my heart....you used me" are also common themes I've noticed.
Why do all the women get left alone on the farm with 5 kids to raise?

Also in the music videos, the singers always seem to be in front of a barn on sitting on haystacks.

RnB songs to me, are okay, but often have a common theme:

Too.Much.Information.

I really, don't need to know that you want to switch off the phone and do it all night until you feel right. And yet on every RnB album I've ever heard, there is a song about exactly that.

Why does the phone have to be off and the lights low? This is a mystery to me.
