Yeah, i like american people a lot more than british people, i find there's more to get along with, gaming isn't looked down upon even nearly as much and it just seems to be an easier place to live for someone my age with my hobbies and interests.
Or maybe that's just grass is greener thinking, who knows. | |

Question is, how are you going to afford it, and why would any employer want to hire you over someone who is an American citizen and unemployed? |

I dunno lol.
This isn't a serious plan, it's just saying something i feel is true about myself.
I just think i'd enjoy living in america more than the UK based on the people i've met online. |

| Well, it's a nice fantasy to have, and sorry about shooting it down a bit there. Who knows, maybe it will become a reality for you. Heck, I even fantasize about living across the pond myself. But I do know that it is much harder done, with for the same reasons I gave you. The grass is always greener on the other side. |

| Back when I was still living in America I'd just swoon when I heard a chic with an accent....nowadays I run and take cover from it.
But in all seriousness I wouldn't play musical chairs just yet. Western influenced countries every where are short on jobs.
I'm an American immigrant here in NZ and have to take back seat to the citizens here when employment opportunities arrise (which I agree is totally fair) but it often leaves without a lot of stuff and constantly scrounging change for milk.
If you're established or have parental support where you are, I'd stay put for now. |
