I detest reading for school. I detest reading because I was forced to. I can't thoroughly enjoy a book unless it was me who did it for leisure, not because some kooky teacher told me to.  Ugh. What is everyone up to? | |

What book are you being forced to read? Remember, when we're kids, we're forced to eat our veggies which ultimately results in us having stronger bodies. We as humans, are silly creatures. We do not inherently do what is in our own best interests. Sometimes, we need people who are more mature to enforce mature behaviours onto us despite our objections.
...but perhaps one can reach a compromise. If I knew what book you were being forced to read, maybe I can introduce some desire of your own to read it? |

I feel you, I HATED reading in high school. It's a little better in college because the majority of it is something you want to be reading. |

| I am totally the same way, Not once did I read a book assigned to me...Just paid real close attention to the review sessions and BS'ed the rest. I am so picky about what I read, so I really hate it when books are forced down my throat....but I do love to read |
