Honey goes nice with chicken, I would imagine you add the fruit at the end or as a side most of the time, or cook really slowly???

Cheesy mashed potatoes are good. I like to throw in bacon bits in there too with the cheese.

It's used by alot of people here. They are lower calorie than just potatoes. You can just use the cauliflower also.

Honey's more a glaze, or as a replacement for sugar I thought, but tis all fun being creative

At the end I think works better. Too long cooking and I've found it to just turn to mush and lose any additive flavour. I do, however, use fruit in marinades, then cook the meat in the marinate in a slow cooker. That works ok, but I don't serve the juices with the meat, so I guess it doesn't matter about the consistency in that case.
