Garlic Mashed Potatoes -- Easy!!!!

This recipe is easy and a big hit with anyone who has the pleasure of eating the potatoes.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes



3? cups chicken stock
5 large potatoes, cut into 2 cm pieces (peeled or unpeeled)
1 or 2 peeled garlic cloves
? cup cream
3 tablespoons butter
Generous dash ground black pepper

Heat stock, peeled garlic and potatoes in saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.

When it comes to a boil, turn heat to medium, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender and then drain, reserving broth.

Mash potatoes with ? cup broth, cream, butter and black pepper. Add additional broth if needed for desired consistency.

No it gives them a chicken flavor which is really nice. Especially if you are having chicken for dinner too. Some people have used vegetable stock too. Don't discount the recipe before you try it. Everyone that I have given the recipe too love it. I have even vacuum packed it and put it in the freezer. When I bring it out again, it is just as creamy and delicious as the first day I fixed it.
