long distance

How do y'all feel about long distance relationships? Good? Bad? Shouldn't exist? Looking for opinions on mine.

well i have a bf that is long distance now...he lives like 2000 miles away and i think its good because we know alot about eachother and it brings us closer together...like people may say its stupid because you dont get to see her or anything but i think its great because your thinking about that person all the time and you talk to her all the time and yea i think its cool!! It doesnt bother me much!!

i hate talking on the phone, so id never be able to make something like that work... i need the face-to-face interactions...

Im single right now, but Im definitely liking someone a lot thats long distance and its mutual.

If the two of you want it to work, it will work.

I know couples that have succeeded at them and some that have failed. It's up to the couple. No one can say it won't work, they don't know, it just might not work for them. Good luck.

Long-distance relationships have a higher risk of just crashing down in a break-up, but there have been many cases where people have actually made them work.

I'm not one of them.

When I moved to another city in the U.S, my boyfriend and I decided to have one of these relationships. I would go visit him, and he would do the same.
However, little did I know that he was getting fesity with another girl behind my back at his town while I constantly called him on the phone.
I found out three months later and dumperd him =/

So, to place my opinion, Long-distance relationships are ok, but you really have to put an effort to make them work.

I was in one, not considered it now.. he's moved in with me. But we were together 4 1/2 years before he came to live here, so it can work. It depends on the people.

I am in a long distance relationship with Calypso from TFS and we seem to be perfect for eachother as someone else has said above if you are willing to put in the work then they do work.... after all nobody knows what is going to happen in the future so if it feels right then go for it.
