can you provide some examples of how critical thinking skills would be valuable to you as an arts and science major.

provide an example of a potential work related problem that can be solved using the scientific method.then, solve the problem step by step to show your understanding of the process. is this the only solution to the problem? is it possible that another person might come up with different solutions while still using the same model? why? or why not?

how should morality be learned? should public schools be concerned with moral education or is this an area that should be left to the family, religious,or other community leaders? do you think that all teachers are moral educators, regardless of their intentions that is does it go along with the territory?

Just write a paper on cheese and hope that the one who's gonna correct it is a real cheese lover.

Hey, it's bound to work at some point, right?

is an internet survey a fair test or scientific method? when you consider the f***wit/bulls***ter scale i seriously doubt it

i give you one answer, people will come up with different answers when using the same model because of bias. If you are surveying people about morality in schools you will find that most people have a set opinion regarding this without actually knowing why. They have already been primed by thier church, media, family, dermographics etc. etc. So testing in some areas where there is a strong christian belt would throw up entirely different answers than say the middle of NYC.

Ahg not Critical Thinking!
That subject haunts me

Oh and this is at the top of recent posts but there are no recent posts, is it a quarantined thing?

And to the OP, the analytical skills of finding flaws in arguments as well as being able to assess credibility of one's argument can help in all aspects of life, particularly in Humanities subjects like Philosophy or others like Law. It can also be a good way of winning day to day arguments
