change of life

can any one tell me why women always blame things on the change of life...at what age do they go through this and what are the symtpoms to look out for...i would really like to know ,so come on ladies tell us

This stage usually starts at birth and ends at death.

i do believe this is true .it does not matter what you do or say ,you cannot please them and when you are down they have this tendencey to keep sticking the boot in ..just to make it more painful.then they blame it on lifes changes .good excuse

If you are talking about "the change", that doesn't happen until later in our lives. There isn't a certain age, really, as far as I know. All of us women's bodies are different. Also, there aren't really any signs for it.

My mom went through "the change" In the middle of her 50's and she never seemed much different than usual.

You know, the same can be said about men. That goes to the "you cannot please them" part.

Well hormones and women is about as close as you get to having a serious mental illness for some. People joke about it all the time but you have to because to be honest we have to live with it and thats how we manage.

Plain old PMT is like being Dr Jekkyl and Mr Hyde. The things we say and do when hormones are ruling us is mostly out of our hands and deep inside we are watching and thinking "why am i saying this?" "why am i being so nasty?" but its like being trapped and an alter-ego takes over.

Menopause can be for some women like having a whole 2 years of PMT, where the real person is trapped inside and this hormonal monster takes over.

Women become forgetful, they do things and blame other people for it. They lose things. They burst into tears or into a rage of anger or sorrow. They start doing one thing and go off and do another and forget what they just did. Its literally like losing a part of your brain.

Menopause can start at any age, its fairly rare below the age of 40 but more than possible.

So when a woman says its the change of life, have a little sympathy because she is struggling to cope and if she cant get the right hormone treatment it really can be a s***ty time.

thank you for your responce .i just hope my ex can relise this .she seems to be doing as you say .cant make the right decisions on a lot .it hurts me to see her like this .i do have sympathy for you women.how can a guy help you through this

The change of life idiom is womanese for I dont like you anymore and belongs to the same womanese euphemisms as "I'm washing my hair" and "its not you its me".. They dont wanna hurt us so they patronise their way out of it... not all tho some will just tell you straight "you are ruining my life" much respect!

yeah wynston.but my ex is sending upto 3 emails a day and buying xmas presents for me .so how can it be said that she does not want you any more when they do things like this..i am getting mixed signals from her

My wife is getting close and I've already told her ,if your like your mother was when she went through it,Pack ya F...ing bags and move or I'll strangle you,she laughs and say's she'll do anything to not be like her.

Just as a point of interest Lovelost,we Males go through it as well,but with us it's know as Grumpy Old Man Syndrome.
