It has been on the books for ages. The goverment has been using subliminal programming to prepare us for this event. Games such as Left 4 Dead. Dead Island suddenly become more like training tools.

The 1st scientist (either a black guy or a blond girl) go homicidal (1st) then suicidal and climb tall buildings so the fungus can more easily spread.

Then bunches of people start getting zombie-fungus infected.

The rest is standard horror film....

the've tried it, I did a bit of research into it a while back as part of a poject for my Bsc, apparently it only has an effect on insects as their brain is less complex than the "higher" animals.

Just give our scientists some time... I am sure they can overcome that obstacle.

Yeah true. They created anthrax so why not go a bit further we have developed our scientific knowledge sice then. It's kind of ironic that our drive to improve ourselves thru technology is what will eventually destroy us.

Although personally I'm still a fan of us creating an intelligent life that will not require us so we will become extinct. If we are trying to develop artificial life, why not give it our drive for destruction.

Ah, the frankenstein monster. Something that wants to love, but finds destruction so much more natural.

Nope I think we will get rid of the emotions. It's only instinct will be survival. To which we will be a threat. But like how we treat weeds in the garden. They have every right to be there but we think they are ugly so we destroy them.
