Would a necklace be an appropriate gift to a teacher from a student?

Next week is the last week of school, and one teacher has been especially great to me. I thought maybe I should give her something to show her my appreciation for her kindness (not sucking up-I'm not going to be having her as a teacher anymore, so there's no point. I'm genuinely grateful for her). I found a very cute necklace for her. It's inexpensive but I think it would look great on her. Does anyone think it's a good gift idea? Or should I give something else?
here's the necklace:

I don't see why not. Unless she's not into necklaces.

I think it's fine, and it's a cute necklace too.

It's fine.

But I thought that was a bra/bathing suit top instead and thought it was inappropriate.

It's a bow-tie, and it's cute.

I don't know, it seems a bit of a personal gift really. I wouldn't do it personally, but if you're quite close to her or whatever then I guess it's fine.

Yes, why not? That's a lovely gesture. :0 And, you'll always remember a good teacher. Go for it!

when i was in high school, my science teacher was going to retired so, for a gift. i gave him a bag of butter scott candy and little bottles of
booze, you get from the airlines. when my science teacher and my class saw the booze, we all laugh really hard until we were crying. my science teacher was a little shock, but he thank me, and took the booze to his home, and he didn't share with the class, DAMN! when in school, my mom bought boxes of candies to give to my teachers at christmastime, to thank them to have me in their classes. i think my mom was bribe them to put with me for another year.
