I've been watching this for about a week and finally the baby is hatching. Wonderful!

I don't actually know what a condor is as I've never heard of it, good excuse to find out though.

yes, it's sweet. I always hope the babies make it.

This same site has other live cams, the pandas, elephants, polar bears, apes. All fun to watch - makes me wish I had a yearly zoo pass.

Strange, how did muslims get into this beautiful live cam?

BTW - I saw the baby's beak trying to get out of the shell this morning. Sweet. It also looks like daddy condor is doing all the work. I hope the baby makes it.

It's funny that the people who claim to be "Americans" the loudest and most often are the ones who try to restrict my freedom of expression.

ohh, adorable! It's a chick!

I just caught a glimpse of the newborn - highly protected by both mom and dad.

Congrat's to the proud parents and the San Diego Zoo. Well done - now the fun part starts.
