The U.N. 'honors' a dictator

He's the cruel bastard who didn't 'know' how to react to the Gaza Strip on right wing issues, and wished to put up housing there.

He also spent, index-linked, $200 billions dollars less, in his 4 years as president, than Reagan did in his 1st 4 years.

You got to know that Carter had his recession problem too. It however had it's clear expansion mandate to control in urban development and ordinary human tolerance. We cannot any longer escape the anxiety over indifference and alienation by just going to that part of town, visiting that friend, and finding each one of ourselves guilty for unemployment. Instead we can be guilty for the inhuman treatment of our fellowman (unlike in Carter's day).

Have you ever wondered what was really behind slavery? The conquest of native American tribes and nations? I tend to think it all was controlled by something supernatural. Blacks and native Americans both have demonstrated great intelligence. What if all African tribes had united against slavers? What if native American's had united and fought off the first settlers? What if the indians studied captured weapons, reproduced them and made their own gunpowder? They had the raw materials.
Africans would still be in control of Africa. Native Americans would still own America and Europe would be overpopulated and destroyed by one war after another, same as before.
In my opinion, things had to work out the way they did for us all to get to where we are.

If you mean that you are pointing fingers at the US and events of over 2 centuries ago and comparing that to the U.N. honoring a dictator today , then I don't see the connection .

Well I mean it's all relative innit? Back them women, blacks, Native Indians and men who did not own property were considered inferior and not entitle to vote. You can hardly blame Washington for the embracing the prejudices of his day.
