I debated that one too, but ended up choose medicare for various reason. But you know what initially threw me off with that one? It was going back to our last crises where the government would shut down if they could come to terms with a proper budget and Obama was willing to put Medicare on the line and CUT it to appease the Republicans. If it can be so readily cut, surely it can't be that much compared to our overall spending, but nope, it is THAT much.
