Stop burning the British flag.

I've seen images of Americans burning the British flag, because of the BP oil spill, now it's BP that are responsible for this spill and not the nation. So take it out on them and not us. Our boys are fighting in Afghanistan alongside American soldiers to. So stop the flag burning now. I don?t blame America or Americans for the Union Carbide disaster in India. It's the company that was/is to blame.

Those images are probably of the most stupid, ignorant people you could find in the U.S. It doesn't bear thinking about.

Wouldn't really bother me if they were but if it's true they can't moan the next time a US flag is burned in Iran for example.

Is there anything more pointless than flag-burning? So you spend $20 on a flag at k-mart and then set it on fire. Wow, well done.

I don't know anyone who has done that. Like said, if it did happen it probably is the most ignorant ones looking for anything to be angry about.

Yeah I agree, there's more to my British identity than a piece of coloured cloth. I've never understood why people get so upset with it tbh.

Either do I. The American Flag has so many rules on it like it can't touch the ground, you can't burn it etc etc. I realize it's a symbol, but it's a piece of cloth, get over it already.

I would never stop anybody burning a flag, in a free society people should be able to. Just that why are the blaming us Brits for BP's mess up? I mean the oil was going to the States right? Where 5% of the Worlds pop. uses 25% of the Worlds petrol.

well I still havent seen any of this, i did a search online and all there is are people chatting in forums about it but no photos.

I live in DC, and you can't swing a dead cat without somebody burning somebody elses flag..

I should open a shop that sells flags and lighter fluid.. I could be a millionaire..
