Something you loved doing as a kid!

There was a hug forest nearby, with 3 huge ponds, I loved spending time there looking for all kinds of creatures............I would catch tad-poles, the water from the swamp, with their dirt, and put it in a huge aquarium I had at home............so when the tadpoles turned into frogs, they had land to go on............and of course I fed them.............these little frogs were the size of a quarter.

God I miss watching them grow..................that forest has been houses for ages now.

Hey, me too I loved it, it was the coolest thing and I once found a pet that my whole family screamed at me for to take it back, I cried cause I wanted to keep it, I was only 5 yrs old, it turns out the pet I picked up and brought home so proud of myself was a skunk

catching the local freight into down town. My younger brother got me to do it once, and then all the time. After a few times he lost interest, but not me. We were never really in any harm, the train was always quite slow. Later on when I was in my late teens and early 20's I hopped trains all over the country. Haven't done it in many years , but I still get excited when the local comes through the neighborhood. I live about 3 blocks form a locl line, yippy... (oh hey, I hear the whistle right now, how funny huh... (did I mention I am a female...)

the things we girls love eh!

When I was about 8 we moved next to Trent Fields in Nottingham, England. The place was swarming with hares and my Dad used to take my brother and myself and all our mates "hare coursing". We'd bring our cap-guns, form a wide "V" with my Dad at the apex, and march through the fields until we raised a hare. Then it went crazy as 7 or 8 little boys and one Dad chased this hare.

Y'know, I can still "feel" that.

BTW. I particularly recall one time when my Mum came with us.....and stepped on a hare before we'd even started. She screamed, us boys went mad and in the distance you could just about here, "Oi! Form a V!".

i loved going to skegness with my mum and dad and brother. we used to stop in a caravan and it was all exciting

It's funny now but back then I cried for days cause I had to get rid of my furry nice looking pet

climbing trees, swimming and coming home to eat PB&J sandwiches-- putting potato chips IN the sandwich Having a club house, making mud pies, digging up worms (weird kid, I know), just running wild.

I loved climbing trees, that was the best ever. .

I also loved to ride the pigs, yeah! you heard right the pigs, too scared of the horse, cause the horse would run to the other end of the field, roll us off then run back, and like idiots we'd run back just to get on her again DUH!! So I rode our Pigs backwards holding on to their tails, till my Dad caught me

now all that sounds like fun!

I was such a tomboy as a kid, I was always outside playing in the backyard, climbing trees, playing catch and baseball and all that stuff. In the winter me and friends would build forts and tree houses and all that fun stuff.

When I'd go over to friends houses, we'd play with pretend food, and do arts and crafts.
