Ranting - Don't read if you say sorry in these forums, you'll just get angry.

The thing i don't get in this forum is seeing when people stick up a post saying something like: Hey look ok im ranting i apologise.
Yeah, you're having a shout, letting off a bit of steam, you don't need to apologise buddy, i'm here to come read your posts and laugh at your life and see whats troubling you. If you're telling me you're sorry for being a crybaby, it makes me feel even more pathetic for living on the same planet as you.
So i was just wondering, can anyone who cares to read this tell me why people apologise on here? Especially in this forum?

the realisation that not everyone wants to listen to their crap but the appreciation that you gave some time to allow them to vent.

that 'saying sorry is a sign of weakness' nonsense is a crutch for a*****es.

God knows.. they are allowed to rant, so i think people should have the right

I honestly agree with that point, the only thing is i don't understand why people will apologise in a 'rants and raves' forum. I mean, people will be coming on here expecting to see exactly what the forum title says, i just feel that the people writing topics in this forum shouldn't feel the need to apologise to any of their readers.

Then you've been lucky to date. It does happen from time to time. Hell, I think I've let lose on a couple of particularly annoying rants myself

I have only been here a couple of months
I'm not the biggest ranter anyway, generally I keep stuff to myself or my journal Unless I want an opinion on things.

because we don't want to annoy with our rants....just rant. and yeah it is silly. I'm silly...meh
