Polar Bears

I just saw a thing commercial on TV saying that Polar Bears are on their way to extinction. Mainly because the ice around them is melting. So they want me to send them 16 dollars a month. HOW THE f*** is my 16 dollars a month going to keep ice from melting?

No, but if I was spearheading an effort to rescue polar bears, I'd take them inland and tag them for monitoring so as not to lose them at sea. Maybe the money would be going to get something like that underway.

Well exactly what did the ad say, how do they intend to put a stop to global warming?

It won't. It does however provide them with enough money to keep breeding stock of polar bear in wildlife sanctuaries, so when we stop f***ing up the world, there will still be enough left to repopulate their habitat.

For 16 dollars a month, they need to plant a hippy up there with a tray of ice that has to continually throw the ice in the water and then refill the tray until all of the ice is replenished. Should take him a billion years.

So why try at all right?

Let's just spend it all on stupid wars instead.

It sounds like a scam to me. Like how the airports (or maybe the airplane companies, I'm not sure) offer an extra fee on your ticket to offset your carbon footprint created by flying. How the extra $ magically makes the plane spew less carbon into the air is beyond me, but like they say there's 1 born every minute.
