Obama & Energy - Crude & Gas

In all media this is news! He wants the East coast, Alaska, and the Gulf to be openfor drilling But not the West coast. Why? Is pelosi calling the shots?

Odd! A billion dollars of our money buys crude from Saudi Arabia and others and no one here seems interested! Wonder why?

I'm waiting for the republicans to start bashing the President about drilling for oil just because he's a democrat, forgetting that it's a major part of their own platform.

Probably just looking for another tax source for his latest spending spree.

It is obvious that your youth prevents you from scanning the media for national and international news. Else you would know that our crude was under lock and key. Federal law. We have the crude but are unable to dril because Congressmen like Pelosi and Panetta said NO!

The environmentalist lobby controls California's Democrat Party's view on drilling. As long as the Democrats control the legislature, drilling off California's coast won't happen. The economic problems associated with environmentalism may bring a change in November.

Or Obama-Pelosi-et-al made a deal to allow drilling to get a vote for the health insurance bill.
