Do any of you guys suffer with neuropathy? I have had it for about a year and a half...shortly after I got sober. It is really painful stuff and there is currently no cure for it. I think it might really to talk to someone about it.

Thanks

Thanks, it just gets a little overbearing sometimes. To be in pain 24/7 isn't fun This is something all my years of drinking caused. I guess I'm paying the fiddler at this point.

I understand pain. My mother suffers from Fibromyalga(spell check) and in simple terms that means fiber=muscle myalga=pain. She is constantly in pain despite all the pain pills and other treatments.

Thanks all,

Neuropathy comes in severul forms...the one I have mainly affects my feet. The nerves are damaged and they are slowly dying in that area. It causes a constant burning, tingling sensations in my feet along with numbness. When they finally become totally numb it will be difficult to walk but at least the pain will be gone. Usually this takes many years. My hope is that with all the research concerning the autoimmune system is that they will find a cure for this someday.
