Okay, which is worse? Having to go to the impound lot for your car or for half your car?

I heard about this, there are some pretty stupid laws in the UK regarding parking and rubbish removal. The car was probably worth less than the fine. So now its their problem.

I once got a ticket while at the post office...thing that pissed me off was my friend was in the passenger seat with the car running while i was inside because i couldn't find parking...one of those damned meter maids gave me a $50 dollar ticket because she said i was still technically illegally parked even though someone was in my car and it was running

So two inches were sticking out onto the street from this guy's driveway - this means to clamp it, the clamper had to enter this guy's property and therefore trespass.
What right does he have to do this?

He should have left it, and if anyone came around, confront them.
I don't care - clampers are scum, there are too many stories of these jumped up little thugs.

saw this on the nwes on the telly the car was an old banger and I think the dad said it would have cost a lot more to either unclamp it or get it from the pound
