You dont have to have a religion to give something up, you can use the money otherwise spent towards charity or you can use it to buy some cool shoes or something

I gave up booze till easter

Can i give up my kids till then

get the kids to give something up, the bonus is easter eggs at the end

I always chuck the bottle during Lent, except for the dispensation I get to drink on 17th March

You have great ideas there Treebee I,m liking your way of thinking with my kids its going to have to be sweets. They only make them hyper anyway

I forgot about Dad'd birthday. Oh well i think he would be proud of me to spend one sober.

Let the kids THINK giving up sweets was their idea. It works much better that way.

My kids have given up swearing, they have to pay a fine for a curse word, we are gonna use the proceeds as spending money when we go on holiday

How much is the fine ? My kids mutter so i can never work out what there saying. There not brave enough to say it loud
