Okay so I am never that good with asking people out it normally takes me a while, and I don't know why I'm writing this (maybe because I'm tired and bored). But there is this one girl who I will run into every few year or so and will somehow end up seeing a lot of her. But I can never find the courage to ask her out. So is there anyone you ever had real trouble asking out?

I used to be very shy around women. I'm uncomfortable around people in general and hate to socialize. So,in my younger days I had great trouble asking for dates. These days, I just don't give a s***.

It's an awkward situation. Selfish people have an easier time because they assume they're entitled to it and don't ask, they just say 'come with me.'

But there is a strong philosophy behind that. I don't know if I heard it here or elsewhere but someone quoted. "The reason that us Americans do not lose is that while others go to war thinking that they might win, we go into it KNOWING that we've already won."

So when you ask her, if you've got a vibe about you that suggests you knew she was interested already and waiting for you to take the lead - it might go a bit smoother.

I'm normally blind to those who like me. Not on purpose but I tend to go off into my own little world.

Sorry. I had a girlfriend named 'Alex' but every time I hear the name I remember the movie A Clockwork Orange.

Wasn't a war, it was a "conflict." lol

But nothing to do with asking anyone out.
