I have got rid of IE7 and i am now using Firefox all the time now...

with all of my antispam/spyware/tracker cookie bla bla bla software, IE7 has been letting in all sorts of stuff. Im serious. I run NOD32 and Zonealarm Pro, and Adaware Pro and spybot and smitfraud. and Run them all on a friday night before i go out.. and since running Firefox i have had zero viruses spyware etc.. but with IE7 i have had on average 2 or 3 serious problems.

Anyone else had problems with it??

IE7 is s*** - don't use it.

I have so many calls from people saying that since they 'upgraded' to it, they've not been able to do a thing with it.

Use Firefox or Opera.

Opera is a lot more secure
Firefox is a lot faster

Opera has always been slower than Firefox. I can't really see that changing any time soon - Although Opera are quicker on updates and new releases.

It's the security that makes me use Opera though. On running a few tests I discovered it to protect me the most. Blocks everything except for what you specifically allow. It's never let anything throguh that didn't want.

I just use firefox because of how easy it is to customise I don't really care about the security and speed that much unless its really significant, my computer destroys anything that dares try to infect it...I also don't go to cd key sites so I don't have to worry about trojans

It's not just sites that give you trojans. MSN Messenger is a great deliverer of bad news, due to its connecting nature

im use all 3, so i can check that the sites i make work in them all, but i use firfox mostly, wehn i used to use IE it would take like 20+ seconds to connect to sites, that even didnt have much to load, where as firefox would only take 10 seconds at a maximum
