I wish she'd get off my back

I know she's trying to help but all Mum's done lately is nag. Yes I do need to make an appointment for my smear test, yes I do need to sort out some way of getting my washing done while we wait for the electrician to come out, yes I do need to get my uni stuff done etc etc but she's not helping by texting me about it every 5 minutes. Yes I know my aunt's been asking about me because she's not seen me for ages but it's hardly my fault that my work schedule makes it hard for us to find a day when we're all free for me to go up for dinner, complicated by the fact I don't want them to see me as a mooch.

It's driving me mad. All I want to do is have a night where I don't dream that my sis is trapped in a burning building or my dad's twisting my arm behind my back or using voodoo to send zombie potatoes after me. I'm stressed out and she's not helping. I've tried telling her but all she says is that she's not nagging. My gran's doing the same. How do I get them off my back?

Tell them to back off. When my mom gets like that, I flat out tell her to back off. I tell her all she's doing is adding to my stress and it works.

I've tried telling her that. We ended up arguing about whether or not she was nagging. As for my gran, she stops talking about it for about 5 minutes and then tries to broach the subject again.

Next time tell her you feel like it's nagging. She may not mean it that way, but that's how it feels. Say it in a calm tone.

I'll do my best. She's stopped texting for now since I promised I'd call my aunt later.
