Guitar Hero guitar help

Okay, so somehow my guitars whammy bar is jammed, I'f tried pushing adpulling it back up right but it's not working.

Should I jsut get a new guitar? How much would that cost? Or should I take off the back and see what's up? Will that possibly break the entire guitar?

Ours broke too. We sort of really pulled on it when it jammed and now it only works if you hold it up.

i would take the back off and see if that little clip that holds the whammy bar got stuck on something.

I took mine apart to fix the whammy bar from falling down when playing and haven't had a problem since

This happened to my rock band guitar, so my sisters boyfriend took the back off and aparently something to do with the spring got stuck... but he fixed it and all is good now.

Well, I took it apart, messed with it a bit, took apart the whammy mechanism, put it back together, still not working. Idk. I was thinking about getting a new one anyway...
