What are some good snacks to eat while you're at work or school?

Something that is that is not messy and doesn't take time to prepare Also, something that is relatively healthy?

I get hungry usually before lunch and really need something to munch on and I don't eat breakfast. Yes, I should, but I don't for various reasons.

Anyways... what are your favorite snacks. I'm tired of the same old stuff.

So far I've done:

Various fruits - cut up to bite size pieces
Nuts - various kinds
crackers/cookies - of various kinds
Yogurt
Granola bars

I prefer salty over sweet - if that helps.

Raisins are great, so is sliced malt loaf/grapes. I try not to eat salty things so I can't really help you there.

Tough question to answer really, doesn't matter what you eat after a while it becomes boring.

I noticed you said Salty over Sweet along with Yoghurts an Granola Bars. Take a tip from someone with a heart condition and ease up on the salt,it hardens the Arteries around the Heart,as for the yoghurt and granola bars, check the contents on the side of the packaging and you'll be surprised just how much sugar and salt you actually do eat.

An apple cut into wedges with peanut butter on them. Well balanced and satisfies hunger.

Also peanuts or almonds with a small slice of cheese is great.

I have pretty healthy diet to where eating a granola bar or yogurt or even salty items proportionately aren't going to hurt me.

I don't over do it, but I don't avoid foods with salt or sugar because it's "bad" for me. As long as I'm getting what I need and it's in moderate amounts, it's fine.

Hmm... I haven't had laughing cow in years. Don't really know why, I think it's because it's not "aged" enough for me.

I'm thinking about mini bagels with cream cheese. I can do that.
