f*** my life and my inability to read

So my wireless adapter for my desktop has been playing around for months, I finally decided that while I'm off sick I would try and sort it out.

I uninstalled the software after reading the manual from the box...

And I missed the part where it said that to re-install it I have to be connected to a wireless router or an access point.

f*** MY f***ING LIFE.

My router is downstairs and my desktop is upstairs.

f*** everything. I'm so retarded and pissed off

just reboot and see if that fixes it.

In the past year or so I've rebooted and rebooted and rebooted it and it never solved anything. I already uninstalled the software now, so I have no choice but to take my whole computer down into the dining room and connect it up to the router if I want it to have the internet

Sometimes windows has a driver that can run stuff. You don't always need to install the manufacturers software.

But yeah, you might have to lug it down. That sucks.

I'm gonna see if I can install it without an internet connection first... Which I probably cant.

Then I'm gonna have to sort out the jungle of wires and cables from behind my desk, unplug it all and take it downstairs

can't move the internet upstairs?

Nope. I'd need a phoneline upstairs

I should get my dad to call over and see if he can fit one actually...

Yeah, i use the Windows driver for my wireless thingy because its much more better than the actual manufacturers one.

I don't know how to do this... Help!
