Dreaming within a dream

A few years back, I had a dream where I was in my basement bedroom, and I got up, to go upstairs to my lounge. When I got to the top, I woke up. I was at the bottom of the stairs, and at the top, the light was on, and someone was at the top. Then I woke up - again. This time, for real.
It was really weird. At one point, I knew I was still in the dream.
I don't live there anymore, thank god. That dream frightened me.
(I don't know why either)
Since then, I have had countless dreams in which i'm flying. (Superman job)
Telekinisis is also another thing that creeps into my dreamscape.
Odd.
I just thought I'd share that. No reason.

You had a false awakening. That's when you apparently "wake up" inside a dream, and sometimes you can have more than one false awakening in your dreams.

It's nothing special really. Anyone can have them.

I used to have a dream, I still remember (shudder). Dreaming I had to wake up for school, the alarm goes off, I hit the alarm, wake up (or so I thought but I was still dreaming) and reach for the light switch and the light switch would fall out of the wall into my hand. Then I would jump up, really awake. Strange dream. Stranger yet that I still remember.

"nothing special" lol, ouch.

It sounds cool though. I haven't had one, but I know a lot of people that have.

If that was me, I would have grabbed one of my swords that I have, ran up to that area, and checked it out.

i've had this experience also...falling asleep in my dream...dreaming i'm waking up in my room..just to find myself waking up again. too weird. the mind is a complex thing..
