Credit Card

Can anyone tell me the best way to get a credit card? I mean what do they want you to tell them when u apply?

My advice is DON'T GET ONE,tell them your up to your eyeballs in dept,they'll send one straight out,lol

yeah sure alot of people have them,this is why they tell you not to get one but i suppose if you've got a good head on your shoulders,you now how to handle your money and wont have a problem paying it off,well its up to you at the end of the day,its your money

Well to answer your question,they'll basically ask you about your earnings,do you have any other loans,how much rent you pay,are you in full time employment.Phone them up,they'll ask you the questions then ask for a bank statement,and then they'll do a credit check on you,if it's all good they'll send you your card.

What are the biggest things that sway them either way?

well depends on which country u r in and the popularity of credit cards there...

cuz like in some countries such as japan, etc... they use mostly cash and credits r only for a few ppl cuz interest rate r expensive....but in US, interest rates r not that high and affordable... so depends on where u at...

well if most ppl have it applying for would be easy... u ill only need like ID verification, and/or salary summary....

as long as u r paying back certain minimum due amount on time, u will be ok and ur credit line will go up...

I'm mainly worried that they wont approve it 'cause I dont have any savings.

saving shouldnt count... only the income and expenses average rates counts...

well, for here in US, lowest (with no or vry low income) is $300 credit line.. highest with hella great income is like $50000 or more i guess..

so ya... i think u will get like mid to high level... 8)
