Hi

I'm panicking big time. I'm a mum with four kids and I have gone totally overboard on my christmas shopping...... just realised that the total balances on my cards is now exceeding ?55k. I'm so worried....I've been so stupid! How on earth am I going to meet the minimum repayments. I just dont know.

If anyone has some ideas I'd be really grateful.

IDK know what that symbol means. But it sounds like a lot.

You could do some insurance fraud?

Sue somebody over something stupid?

Or, more realistically you could call one of those credit card people that are on the tv every other commercial?

And you could also save money on your car insurance by switching to Geico.(spelling?)

You mean the (k) of ?55k or the (?) ? cos (k) is short for kilo aka 1000 or ?55,000 and (?) is pound sterling UK currency.

As far as your debt is concerned mabye look in debt / credit consolidators (sorry for spelling) or even marry a bloke who is minted.

if it's a wind up >.> shame on you

The UK currency thing you said. I know what "k" means in money.

WoW, are you saying that is a total you spent on christmas, or total of bills. If that is a total spent on christmas alone, that is kinda scary. It sounds like you need to speak with someone, like a debt councilor. That sounds like a serious problem.

Sam Hope you can make it better!
