Charlie Sheen loses kids

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- The Sheen saga continues, as his twin boys with estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, have been taken from his home in Sherman Oaks, Radar Online reports.

Sheen surrendered the 23-month-old boys, Max and Bob, from his custody on late Tuesday, according to Radar Online.

Radar Online captured exclusive video of the surrender, which happened around 7:30 p.m.

Eh...I think he'll bounce back. But, his image will be forever tainted.

he has been offered help... He is just out of control.

Each state has it's own laws and policies regarding how child protective services work. Most states believe that the bond between parent and child is of such a nature that permanent removed does more harm to the child than drug use or other kinds of abuse. They first send people in to rehabilitate the parents when possible and remove children only when they think they are in immediate or severe danger or when the bond between parent and child does not appear to exist in the first place. Once upon a time I would have said what hogwash that is, get the kids out of those bad homes, but foster care is in short supply and in the line of work I do, I have seen what happens when a child's bond with his parent is disrupted and new bonds don't form. It's not pretty. However, removing them to another parent or other bonded adult does happen.

I love Charlie Sheen. He's gone up so far in my estimations over the last few weeks.

I agree with you, although I dont like reality TV shows if Charlie Sheen ever had one I'd watch it religiously.
