Has anyone travelled to Nigeria?

Do you think it would be safe to travel there alone?

Susan, I'm with Davii and Spinkie.....alone in a country like Nigeria isn't such a grand idea. I have a friend whose 23 y.o. daughter went missing 2 years ago in Nepal on a hiking trail, ALONE! Nothing was ever found of her......

In this day of human trafficking, people (especially women traveling alone) can't be too careful! Stay safe, my friend, travel in a group if you can!

Susan I have been a couple of times with work and I would suggest it is a bad idea for not only a female alone but even in small numbers. We have had instances of groups of four and five blokes being mugged and attacked. Therefore I would strongly advise against it. No offence meant to anyone who differs in opinion.....It is just my experience of it

I had almost completed plans for travelling with 3 others.
But due to sudden change in work schedule they had to cancel.
Your advice and info has been very helpful in coming to a decision.
Trip cancelled for me too!

Indeed, safe places where women CAN and DO travel alone. Even right here in the USA!!!
