"UNDATED Its a natural progression from the disposable digital camera.
C-V-S Pharmacy has started selling a disposable video camera.

There is no videotape, the camera saves images to internal memory.

The portable camera is very low-maintenance. There are only three buttons and there is no jack to connect it to a T-V.

It can store up to 20 minutes of digital quality video and sound.

Once you have finished using the camera, you take it to C-V-S for processing. The material is burned onto a D-V-D.

The camera itself costs about 30 dollars, the processing costs about 13 dollars.

The disposal video camera is available now at C-V-S stores in the Northeast and will be available nationwide by the end of the month."

seems weird...after doing that whole process a few times you could have bought yourself a real nice decent camera that you could use as many times as you like...

Seems like a lot of trouble for $43. I'd rather just buy a $400 dollar one and be able to use and reuse for more than 20 minutes. Nah. Why bother.

you can't go wrong with a good quality dv camera. The market for disposable isn't there. If only it had been here a few years back.

theres a small market for anything but it has no appeal to people with any knowledge about cameras

yeah, I'd have to agree, they would have to know very little about cameras to do that. because you can buy a regular disposable and get the pics put on a CD, so why pay $30, instead of $10?

People will buy anything...which is really sad It may seemed like a good idea a couple of years ago, but now...not such a smooth transition.
