I have OO as well and, though it works well by itself, it doesn't seem to be compatible with Microsoft Office. If I send people documents that I've made with OO (.odt), they cannot open them. If I email something I've made on my home computer (.doc), the document will often be a little off when I open it.

Can you send it as a PDF? That's what I do when I make a document using Apple's Pages app.

Yes, that's what I eventually had to start doing.

Only if your company is on the list. It'll either accept or reject the email address on that first screen. Chances are your work email will not work.

It worked. It's downloading right now.
I usually get Office for my home laptop through my work, but this is who they are doing it now. Things changed.
