Is there a way for doctors to test your fertility?

Like could your general doctor or GYN check somehow or do you have to go to a specialist and have complicated/expensive tests done?

I'm not too concerned, I've just always had this fear and nagging feeling there may be a problem. I'm probably just paranoid and worried over nothing, I just wanted the reassurance.

I'm no medical expert, Kristy, but I'm pretty sure you can have your estrogen levels checked. There are so many variables when it comes to who is fertile and who is sterile, IMO, that I wouldn't even attempt to say anything one way or another. I just know MY experience was that we weren't even trying to get pregnant, and "lo and behold", I got preggers!!!!!

Also, I don't know where you live, but in this area (west coast of Florida) we have an organization called "Planned Parenthood". They do fertility testing and it's on a sliding scale, even free for those who need it, I believe. Have you checked your local health dept.?

I've been doing some looking around but everything is pointing me to the First Response Home Ovulation/Fertility Tests. I'm on the pills so I think that'll effect it (1). 2, I want a professionals opinion.

My biological mother had no problems with fertiliy, she has like, 7 kids. And my dad's side of the family breed like rabbits (my dad was 9 of 11 and all my aunts have 2-3 kids each)

What makes you suspect there's potentially a problem?

Idk really, just a gross nagging feeling. I'm probably just paranoid. I mean, I've dreamed of being a mom since I was 4 and my desire is so great I guess it comes with some fear of not achieving that goal due to something out of my hands?

yeah a blood test called a day 21 progesterone
