Not to sound crass... but honestly there are these large strips of metal that are stuck to the ground. They don't move! They only take up 6 feet or so wide... you know what they are for.

Its not like its a suprise where the GD train is going to be!... I mean.. it can't even turn! They make all sorts of noise, they can't even sneak up on you!

How do you get hit by one in a CAR of all things? On foot I could undertand, maybe your just not a nimble of a runner but a car has a engine and even if the engine doesn't work you still have doors and windows that you can climb out of.

Makes no sence to me.. total waste of human life.

People make that mistake too often. Trains don't stop on a dime. It's a sad loss for all the families. I feel the most sorry for the train personnel who could see what was going to happen, but couldn't stop it.
