Does absolute truth exist outside the realm of concepts?

i think so, you could of course question our minds ability to percieve the truth, but i think thats bringing the whole philosophy thing to annoying heights.

i exist as does the earth, this is true regardless of whether a person believes in it.

So absolute = yin (or yang) and truth = yang (or yin)? I like that analogy!

I have found no truth that I see as absolute. Empirical truth is about as close as I have found that is outside the realm of concepts.

Empirical: Based on observation or experience. The view from my 5ft.4inches is quite different from the view at 6ft.4inches which is one of my nephews vantage point. It is 0823 here and something else in another time zone. Empiricism alone will not give us enough to survive and grow. Einstein dwelt in a mathematical world of "what if?" and "Could it be?" And lo and behold he came up with a whole new theory of physics, of course it was built on the existing theories. And lo and behold, Einstein's theories are being revised. It appears that there are almost no limits to where the human mind can take us, for good or ill. peace, bybee
