Okay.....weird. But if it gives the family some comfort, I guess there's nothing wrong with it.
I have 3 concerns though - surely the phone will deteriorate over time, just like the deceased will. And what do they do when the voicemail box is full? And if it's still on, how will it keep it's charge?
I don't get it. They shouldn't have buried him with the phone. Dumb dumb dumb. I will bet any money in 3 months they want to exhume him so they can charge the phone up again.

I'd cringe at the thought of exuming my loved one after that long period of time. It won't be a pretty sight, rather they should leave him be.
